My Crave List: A Tea Kettle

by Amanda

Every week, I plan to highlight some fun foodie product I think I need. And when I say need, I mean I’m-doing-okay-without-it-but-when-I-have-the-space-and-money-I-would-like-this…very much.

This week? Tea kettles! I currently use the microwave more than I like, and it doesn’t even do a good job at keeping the water warm when I’m taking my time sipping my tea. And my coffee maker always lets stray coffee grounds infiltrate the pot when I’m only trying to brew hot water. Luckily, my roommate lets me use her single-cup Keurig when I’m hot for tea. Still, it would be nice to make a big pot of tea how tea was intended to be made.

Enter in my top contenders for my dream kettle:

Teavana Alasdair Glass Tea Kettle ($39.95) from Teavana

Do you think I can convince people it’s invisible?

Kohl'sBonJour Stainless Steel Teakettle ($69.99) from Kohl’s

Oo la la! I feel like this tea kettle could be stylish in any place or time.

Giraffe tea kettleGiraffe Whistling Tea Kettle ($36.95) from Supreme Housewares via Amazon.com

Okay. I know I’m supposed to be transitioning into adulthood, but I really, really want this one.

Do you have a tea kettle? What other ones should have made the list?

  1. i don’t have a tea kettle, either, but i’d love one. especially a smaller one that would heat up faster. i love your picks..they are all adorable!

  2. Being a coffee drinker, I never use the tea kettle. My roommates have an electric one that gets a TON of use, though.

That giraffe makes me want to convert to tea.

  3. I love the giraffe one! I drink more coffee than tea, but fall/winter makes me want tea.

  4. I don’t have a tea kettle but I’m with you on wanting one! I love that giraffe one. That would be my pick for sure. In fact, I may get it!!

  5. Manda, there’s a tea kettle on the shelf in our dining room! Although, those do look cooler.
